and cake balls. I was trying to make the cake balls like MomLittr. Here is her link.

My question is, do I need to treat the pan with anything to make them come out of the pan. If so, what do I use? If not, how do I get them out of the pan. Please help. I need to have these made by Friday afternoon.

Thanks!

If you are chilling the candy melts in the pan, you should have no problem getting them to pop out. chill until set. add cake balls and press in. i might suggest chilling again to set the cake balls a bit. top with melted candy. now chill thoroughly. when you remove from the fridge, they should pretty much pop right out. if not, tap on the pan and that ought to release them okay.

this is also easy to do with a chocolate/candy mold, which is clear plastic. i sometimes do that but put in freezer for quicker chilling/release. that should work here, also.

let us know how it works!

Thanks! They are in the fridge now...I'll check them in a few more minutes and report back.

I knew I could count on CC'ers for help and answers. Thanks! This site is THE BEST.

It worked! After sitting in the freezer for a few minutes, they popped right out very easily (almost too easily) icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the tips.
