thanks for readingicon_smile.gif

for my final cake in wilton 3 i would like to make a stacked cake covered in ivory fondant and have dark rust colored fondant or gumpaste roses as a topper and the same shade for a bead border and and the center dots on a quilted layer. any suggestions on how i can achieve this without wasting a ton of color. i thought about tinting the fondant with brown first to get the dark shade and then adding a combo of americolor terracotta and super red.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! thanks

I have a color chart that says for rust you should use 8 drops orange, 2 drops red and 1 drop brown. Mix the colors first and then mix with the fondant or icing that you will be using.
