How do I fix my MMF when it is too greasy and won't dry? I made the modified recipe that has 1/2 cup of shortening and it is litterally beading up with fat as it dries. How grosssss!

I had to go look for myself, didn't know there was a recipe for MMF that called for Crisco...sure enough there is, but the recipe calls for 1/3 cup of Crisco, could be why yours is too greasy. Adding more powdered sugar might fix it, but be cautious adding it. Janice

Maybe I did put in a 1/3. I don't remember but will try adding little bit of powdered sugar at a time. I really want to start using MMF but am having such a hard go of it.
