How Do You Use The Wilton Foil Baking Cups?

i bought a pack today of wilton foil baking cups and i just realised it contains white and foil baking cups. what are the the white ones?

From what I've read, the white ones are to make separating the foil cups easier. You can use them separately on other cupcakes.

The foil cups make the paper ones stand up so that you don't have to use a muffin tin and they still get browned. AND they hold their shape better!

Sorry but i found this a little funny these are what my mom used all of the time when I was little. We didn't even have a muffin tin!! I guess it's one of those poor people tricks

so just to make it clear when i want to prepare my baking tin to spoon in cake batter, i place the foil ones then the white ones and then put in batter?or the foil ones are not meant to be bakes in? sorry i just found them abit confusing!!! icon_cry.gif

Yes you put the foil then the paper the the batter and bake!

Believe it or not somewhere on the package it says "Discard the white papers and use the foil ones"

Put the foil cups in your cupcake pans and you are supposed to toss the white ones. I always save 'em tho and use them when I am making cupcakes that I don't need in foil, it's like getting a whole pack of cupcake liners for free LOL!

I bake on the foil ones and don't place them on cupcake pans as they stand on their own. Like SweetResults, I use the white ones for other cupcakes.
