I wanted to thank everyone for the compliments I have recieved via PM.. For adding my tutorial to the site.. BUT I need to give credit where it's due.. I had no idea where to even begin in making a purse cake.. I was looking at the galleries and someone asked Boween for her instructions on "how to make a cake purse".. Boween has so much talent, all her cakes are so beautiful and flawless!!! 
So I PMed Boween and asked the question too.. " How do you make the purse cake?" Well she was very kind and very informative. She gave me her instructions on "how to make a purse cake".. So with that I made the step by step pics.. I wanted to THANK BOWEEN for her instructions.. It was in fact Boween who inspired me to give it a try.. And without her instructions I would have never done it..

P.S. I really enjoy this site.. I have learned so much from here.. All of you out there are so talented!!.. I know what's it like to wonder " how in the heck did they do that?".. I had tons of questions on how to make a gift box cake.. Well I finally just jumped in blind and tried it.. (in my photos) I had so much fun.. with little trial and error.. I think it came out pretty good.. This weekend I have a cake order for a gift box cake.. I have decided to take step by step photos of this cake.. I received no instructions from anyone.. This will be my way of putting it together..
I will be adding a tutorial for this cake.. So for all those curious about "how to make a gift box cake".. It's coming real soon!!!!
Well, thanks to both of you! I love the step-by-step tutorials. I have found that I'm a visual person----I need to see something being done alot of times before I can do it. I can't wait for the gift box one!
BTW, I hope everyone realizes how great it is that the members on this site are so willing to share their knowledge! I cannot tell you haow much I have learned since I joined!
just wanted to also say how help boween has been when I've pm her questions!! she is very nice!! she's also helped me through a couple of situations where I wouldn't have known what to do otherwise!! boween's been just great!
