Does anyone have any tools or tricks they use to paint or putting a strip/ribbon of fondant on in a straight line? Especially if its around the whole cake? I'm having so many problems! icon_mad.gif

thanks

If you have one of those laser levels, (or your DH) then you can use that to draw a laser "line."

If not, measure up from the table, with a ruler to the point. Prick that point with a needle/straight pin. Repeat at intervals around the cake.

If you measure from the top down, it still won't be straight, as the top of a cake is never truly level.
