Freezing Fillings

Last week I made some really good orange almond custard filling. It's basically just egg yolks, sugar, corn starch, almond & orange flavoring, water.....

I had quite a bit left over and want to freeze it. Will it be ok?

Auntsushi,

I would think if you place the left over filling in a ziplock bag or airtight container in the freezer it should be fine. I made a strawberry filling and placed the leftover in the freezer and it was fine.

I think it would be fine. I just did this and haven't had a problem.
