I just use my regular pound cake but add in 1/2 c. of finely chopped almonds and replace the vanilla with almond flavored extract.

I have a recipe that uses 1 TBS of almond, butter and vanilla flavor. It has a pretty strong almond flavor to it. If you think you'd like it, PM me and I'll be glad to send it.
