We have just returned to Townsville Queensland from a weeks trip to Sydney NSW for our Grand daughters 18th Birthday when we received a phone call late last night from our son to say that our 15 year old Grand daughter has gone missing. She was grounded by her parent for skipping school later on in the evening my daughter-in-law went in to check on her but she was gone. Contacted her friends but none have heard from her. I want to fly back to Sydney but due to my husbands health ( he has cancer) I am not able. The next step is for them to contact the police. You feel so helpless so far away. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated

Oh my goodness, have them call the cops right away. The sooner they are notified the better chance they have of finding her. So sorry, you're family is going through this.

Hope she turns up soon. Does she have a cell phone? They may be able to trace her calls by where the tower is.

I do hope she turns up safe and sound. Maybe she is just rebelling and not realizing what she is putting everyone through. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

That is so frightening it makes your heart drop down to your stomach. I hope by now she is home safely but my guess is one of her friends is hiding her and not admitting to it. Aside from tracking her cell phone calls I would check the home phone if it stores numbers called, here we can push redial and it goes to the last number called from your phone. Or push *69 and it will go to the last number of whoever called your number.
You might pick up some information that way too.

As the mother of two teenage girls, I am sympathetic to your pain. From the bottom of my heart, I pray that she turns up soon. Take care of yourself and your husband and please let us know what happens.
God bless you,
Marie
