Hey everyone. I have an order for three seperate tiered cakes next week for a local spa. I have great ideas for two of the three (it's a pampering day theme...no problem with those), but this is the one that I'd really like your input on...Beauty Boot Camp. I was thinking of using fondant to mold two little girls for the topper with lipsticks and mirrors in hand...of course, wearing little tiaras, too! I just thought that would be darling. How about candy molded hair dryers, lipsticks, high heels shoes, etc? Also thinking of a long strand of edible pearls to incorporate into the design, too...going along with the "beauty/dress-up" theme. What else can I do??? I am planning on marbling the fondant covering in pink, and dusting lightly with shimmer or super pearl dust. Any other decorating thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? I'd appreciate them all. icon_smile.gif

Small model of a blackboard with beauty instructions written on it , coupled with the nescessary utensils, a sort of how to, could add in the teacher as it is boot camp

As a little humor, you could add a couple of beaten-up Army boots in amongst all the beauty items...
