Hi,

I do have a 2 tier cake (6in. on top) and I need to put some gumpaste roses on top. Should I need to put them all together (stem) before putting them on the cake, or can I just put a little bit of BC for each rose

Byy the way, I need to deliver this cake today.
It is all done I just need to put the roses and leaves on top

Thanks .

Biviana

I would just put some bc on.......if you can wait until you get to the place the cake needs to be to put them on then do that......there is a possibility that the roses could slide some....when I have to deliver a cake fully assembled with gumpaste roses on it I always make the roses directly onto toothpicks and then shove the toothpick into the cake! But I suppose you've already made the roses?

just use a bit of buttercream. It will hold the roses fine, esp if it is a crusting buttercream. The engagement cake in my photos had roses on the sides attached with buttercream and it lasted 3 - 40 minute plus car trips!
