Stacked 12 And 10 Visually Ok?

Tiered 12 inch on the bottom 10 inch on top - does this look bad or should I go with 14 -10??

Depends on what the cake is for. If it's for a wedding I would probably say no just because asthetically I like a 3 or 4 in difference and a 10in cake is large for a top tier for a wedding. You might be able to do it with a party cake if you had alot going on the top.

I always do 12,10,8,6 for my wedding cakes and I think it looks fine - check any of my pictures to see what you think.

I think a 10" cake on top is too big and the cake overall will look "flat".

Agree with dodibug .... depends on what it is for.
