Hi, I'm putting in an order for an Agbay and I'm not sure if I should go for the regular or the deluxe. Anyone have any experience with them that could lend advice? The prices are $149.95 & $249.95...a $100 difference. Is it worth it to have the second blade or does it maybe get in the way or interfere with regular torting? I'd be willing to pay the extra if it's really worth it but just don't know if it's needed or not.

What do you think?

If I had the money I would get the two blades. You can always move one out of the way if you only want to torte once. It seems a lot of people use the two to level the top and torte all at the same time, or you can keep doing a lot of paper thin layers of cake.

If you use 3" cakes quite a bit then this would be great b/c then you could torte twice at once time.

I haven't done 3" cakes before but that's a good point to use the double blade for that icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the input icon_smile.gif

i have the double blade and torte and level at the same time. occasionally i move the top one out of the way but generally do them both at once. if you get either one of them make sure you get the cleaning tool, its only like $6 but it wipes off the gummy cake that tends to stick to the blades.

I have the deluxe and love it. You can level and tort at the same time. The top blade can be lifted up all the way so it is not in the way. It is so worth the money. You will love how easy it is and how much time you save.
