make cookies also? I was trying to think of pricing for cookie bouquets and stuff. How much do you charge? Someone suggested a website to me, ok, maybe I'm nuts but is almost $8 a cookie a little high? The collosal chocolate chip ones you can pick up for like $5 at the grocery store is almost $30. icon_eek.gif

I don't sell(yet!) but I agree charging $8 a cookie is a bit much. But at the same time, I don't know what is "reasonable".......................sooooooooooooooo

I don't sell my stuff, but I've heard that $1 per inch for a decorated cookie is one way to determine pricing.

I bought one of those $8 cookies to try from wonderland bakery in Calif its at least 1 in thick and about 6in long so I see why its $8 I like the ones my daughter does and they are posted on my web site click on cookie bouquets and the prices that we charge are listed. I started making shortbread cookies as a choice for eggless cookies my daughter does sugar cookies.

I know it has been said before, I really think location has alot to do with what to charge for cookies. I am in Oregon and I am getting a $1.00 for my small 1 to 2 inch cookies wrapped with a little bow and $2.00 for my 3 to 4 inch cookies wrapped with a bow. These are sugar cookies with a type of royal icing on them. My chocolate chip cookies are 3 inches each and I sell them by the dozen for $5.00. Hope this helps.

You might want to post this in the Cookie Discussion Forum. You might get more responses...
