OK all, my sweet loving husband cleaned my kitchen for me and loaded and started the dishwasher with my cakepans in there. The next morning, I unloaded it and low and behold my cake pans were in there and they were horribly spotted! Noooooo! Anyways, I tried to wash it off thinking it may be dishwasher soap residue but to no avail. Woe is me icon_cry.gif Now my pans are horrid looking and I don't know how to get the spots off or IF they WILL come off. Any suggestions????

The bad news is that they don't come off icon_sad.gif. The "sort of" good news is that is does not alter the use of the pans. I made that mistake early on.

The same thing happen to my wilton pans. icon_mad.gif , now I only buy the magic line pans. I like them better, sharper edges and more durable. I still have my wilton pans though, the spots really don't do anything to them.

missmeg & Mchelle, thanks for the input. I feel better knowing it won't affect their cooking abilities and I too, prefer the Magic Line. Now they are my spotted Magic Lines. Maybe I'll tell my Hubby they are ruined beyond repair and I'll need a new set. Darn!
