I have two half sheet cakes to do for the high school homecoming this Friday night. (I did one full plus sheet cake for the Hall of Fame Induction night and almost couldn't get it in the room!) I have decided to do one cake with a football helmet and the other with the wonder pan making it the homecoming queen.
I need help from those of you who have done both. I have looked at the gallery and saw a lot of things I liked and some I didn't. Our colors are blue and orange. I will probably put each on a half sheetcake and make the bottom grass. If you have made the helmet please give me some pointers. I have the sports ball pan and was planning to possibly use that with a round cake for the bottom part. Any suggestions, please!
Sorry I havent made a helmet before...but try searching through the galleries and when you find something or part of something that you like, PM the artist and im sure theyd love to point you in the right direction.
It may be more beneficial to you that way, rather than wait for somebody who has made a helmet to stumble across this forum.
