I have never used luster dust before, but I want to get some for some fondant leaves. My question is...what color luster dust do I get? Do you get something very similar to the color of your fondant, to just enhance it, or slightly different? Like if I use a shade of orange fondant, would you get a coppery/orange color, or more like a gold color? (for example)

thanks!

I think it depends on what you are looking for. Do you want it to stand out from the cake then def. go with something brighter than your base, if you want it to blend a little more go with a more subtle color. Any way you do luster dust is great and makes a beautiful presntation.

thank you. So it will still be obvious even if the shades of fondant and luster dust are similar?
