Hello everyone! I'm realitivly new to the site, and this is only my second post! I'm wondring if anyone out there knows of good cake decorating supply stores in the Minneapolis, MN metro area? I'm from northern MN, but will be making a trip down there this upcomming weekend. Since I'm still new to the whole cake decorating thing it would be great to be able to stop by a store and actually see and touch the products instead of ordering them online. I"m mostly looking for petal and luster dusts, but it would be so much fun to see more supplies than the local Michaels store!

Welcome LJJohnson! The only supply store I know of is Lynn's Cake and Candy Supply on University Ave. in Fridley or Spring Lake Park, not sure which city it's actually in. You could do a search maybe. It depends where you are headed to. I'm in the northern metro so I'm not familiar with any other areas. If you find any, let me know! 
If you do go to Lynn's, it might be a good idea to call about two weeks ahead with specific items that you KNOW that you'll buy because I was just there and they were out of the luster dust I wanted so I ordered it. There's tons of stuff to look at but if you're going there for a certain thing just call so you are assured you'll get since you're coming far.
