Hey Kristi girl...((((HUGS)))) Sorry you had one of thosse days... ((((HUGS))))

I know that feeling all to well... Yesterday I was in the middle of doing only 2 cakes and my MIXER DIED icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif And it was about 5;30 in the norning and I thought I was quiet with my tapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.gif and my feet stomping but I woke both of my kids up.

And yes the new crisco is a pain. I was lucky and found a store that had the big containers of the old stuff and bought all they had. But I am on my last one. But a friend here in town got some high ratio shortening and I am going to buy some from her. She said it works really good. See if you can find some. If you have any?? about it just pm me...

PS we miss you at the table..... Kay

Oh wait girl, the best is to come.

My 17 step-son is lazy the other day he dropped a soda in the garage and didn't clean it up. When I asked why "Well I thought the dogs would lick it up" icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

Or if my 15 step daughter, is having a Little Debbie snack cake (I know...but we just love them) she will shove the wrapper down in between the cushions of the chair. icon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

Ya I know that wrapper thing all to well. They trow the behind the chair or the couch. Or leave empty boxes from thier snacks on the counter. DUH can't they reach a foot to throw it away in the trash can right next to the snacks???? And paper cups sitting all over the house that can't walk themselves to the trash. And all my dishes, cups, and silverware that wind up in the basement and that I will never see again. And if I do I am not sure I want to GGGAAAHHH Kids can be a huge PAIN IN THE BUTT DH is almost as bad LOL

I'm screwed then because my 7 year old DD has been doing this for many years. We had our carpets cleaned last month and there is one couch I can't move or vaccuum under that great--when they moved it ther was wrappers, her undies and a school uniform she didn't like to wear. I was so embarassed. We now have the rule if you are lazy and don't put whatever it is where it belongs---you loose a toy, I've given away just a few to goodwill and she has now decided that she might listen icon_rolleyes.gif (I make her go with me to drop it off too icon_wink.gif mean I know, but it's getting the point across)

Thats not mean!!!! The kids need to learn responsibility and they need to learn respect. Hiding trash so the mice will come is NOT respect. I rant and rave over this all the time and it hasn't helped but when I tell them Im going to take away their TV's or video games if I find anything like that hidden anywhere they scramble around like chickens with their heads cut off!!! I am TIRED of being a servent to the kids....I know I have a responsibility as a parent but this is ridiculus (sp). My 2 older kids KNOW they shouldn't do this..but it is a habit and like any other habit it will take time to break. I like the taking things away forever thing....they know when we just "say" things and when we actually mean it...
