Can you freeze cake balls that have allready been dipped in chocolate? If so, for how long?

Thanks icon_smile.gif

I have done it. They may crack when they thaw though. Are you selling them? If so, I would freeze them undipped.

I wouldn't. Most chocolate that gets cold turns white and doesn't look good anymore. But that's just me.

They are for my Sunday School class meeting on Thursday. I wanted to go ahead and dip them and freeze them tonight because I will be busy Tuesday and Wednesday night. If I keep them air tight, will they still turn white?

I would worry more about the chocolate cracking. I have never had mine turn white. If you must freeze, it will not affect the taste as long as they are in a good air tight freezer bag.

I usually freeze the balls and dip at the last minute because they really set up quick.
