A friend asked me to show her how to decorate better so she doesn't have to order cakes from anyone. She wants to know my frosting secrets and cake tips. *blinks rapidly* I am tempted to hand her my address book too and ask if she wants to pay for my licensing fees and just take my starving artist business over.
Another just called. She wants to bring me a baked cake to save on the expense. "You can just slice it right up and throw some frosting and decorations on it." I try to hold in a half gasp/half laugh but let it out anyway and say "if the health department were to show up with you arriving with a baked cake for me to decorate I'd be shut down before I even get started. There is no way I will even do that.
If the phone rings again and it's not immediate family I'm so no going to answer it. LOL
I know what you mean. I wish my children were behaving on the good side of rare form. I have had to get after them all day.
I haven't had any one ask about cakes today. But I have a second wedding reception cake due Sat afternoon and I can't seem to be able to get to it. It won't take me very long(it is very simple.....I hope) So it will get done. I just can't seem to get the day to cooporate with me.
