hey guys, first of all I want to say I'm addicted to this website, it is absolutely the best thing I have ever came across. Everyone is so helpful and it is just astonishing that there is not a widespread jealousy thing going on. That is what's wrong with this little town I live in, no one wants anyone to succeed and that's why we have so many shops closing down. But ya'll are great, It's just a great kindred spirit among everyone!
Now to my question.
I have used wilton fondant for my cakes and it is great for design but does not taste well, I've used satin ice and love the way it taste but I can not roll it out without creating a bunch of air pockets and it seems to be thinner than the Wilton, is there another fondant that taste good with the same texture as the wilton?
thanks Again
Ya'll are GREAT!
Can't help you, but welcome to the site and I'm sure someone here will be able to offer some good advice. I myself, use satinice only. However, I RARELY cover a cake with fondant. I use it for accents. Maybe you could mix in some gumpaste with it and that might help firm it up a bit. Just a sugestion.
