How Exactly Do The Moderators Moderate?

Just curious...how do the moderators work? Are they actually reading the forums 24/7? Do they work specific shifts? Do they each monitor specific forums or do they all monitor all of the forums?

Moderators do their best to read all the posts, but of course that is impossible with the rate of new posts we get.

Moderators often are alerted to problem posts, photos, etc by other community members via PM.

No one is on a specific shift or obligated to be on the site a specific number of hours, they just do the best they can when they are surfing CC.

I should also make it clear that the moderators are not paid, and are not employees of Cake Central. They are trusted members of the community who have agreed to taken on the additional role of helping keep CC organized, friendly and safe.

Moderators are also chosen on how well they can communicate.
They are NOT chosen on how many posts they make.
