I asked for going away ideas a while ago and got some great ones. However, there is another couple that is also leaving our group so we don't want it to be as sarcastic as we originally had it.

This is a church small group that they are leaving to join a small group closer to their new homes. We were originally going to do something (as Doug had suggested) like crossing out their names and putting them under the acquaintances list as opposed to friends or we were going to go with the sheep idea where they would've been sneaking under the fence with all the other sheep's backs turned.

Anywho... we can't really do that now. So I need help of new ideas. I don't want it to be a generate "We'll miss you" cake but it's also something I have to whip together this weekend. Any suggestions would be great appreciated!!!

THANKS!

How about having this group waving to them leaving the group being sad? Weather you have them 2D or make them out of gumpaste that might work!

I don't have anything else! It's early for me! LOL icon_biggrin.gif

HI! I have one in my photos - it's of a guy "crying" and says "We'll miss you". It was for our youth pastor who's not going to be our youth pastor anymore (but starting his own ministry to help other youth pastors) and he'll still be attending our church. Anyway, hope that helps!

What about something along the lines of those necklaces that you get when your in high school that are two hearts that you put together and make one? Have their names on it and we will miss you or something.
