I'm wanting to expand with my flavors and was wanting some recipes and advice. So, what is your favorite cake flavor and filling (with recipe please)?

I've added strawberry jelly to my buttercream icing to make a strawberry filling. It went over well.

I don't have recipies, I just sorta do it...But, I have a choclate mouse that everyone loves, super rich! Then I do a cream cheese filling, and a chocolate cream cheese filling....I've never had complaints, always rave reviews, almost psychotic obsession icon_biggrin.gificon_eek.gif

I recently used Chocolate fudge pudding in a chocolate cake and it went over very well.

MrsAB thanks for that website. I added to my favorites.

For fillings, I have used just the regular buttercream and added crushed oreo cookies. Is easy and it taste good. I have also added it to whipped cream.

When you want a fruit flavor, curds are good as filling, they can also be mixed into your buttercream as well. Any type of mousse, people normally like too.
