Okay, so I got a recipe for a strawberry cake on here, and it calls for white cake, strawnerry jello, oil, eggs, water, pureed strawberries. I made a cake, and some cupcakes .... I just pulled the cupcakes out and check on them a few minutes later and they sunk??? Is my cake going to do this? What did I do wrong???
I actually had a dream last night that this happened because I've never made this recipe before.... (crazy!!!)

Help.

Erica

No clue, but here's a bump - someone has to know, right?

Wow, that's weird. I've never had that happen, nor have I ever tried this recipe, but here's another bump for you. I hope someone can help you with this.

Good luck!!!

Nobody knows why? I'm redoing it tonight.... I guess Ill just use regular ol strawberry cake out the box, with some filling..... I thought this cake would be awesome... It will still be good though.

Try adding extra baking powder to it, like another teaspoon. I think its something in the strawberrys that causes it. When I first made my strawberry cake it was flat and didnt rise very much. But I stuck another teaspoon of baking powder in and it was fine.
