Bavarian creme, chocolate, or cream cheese. That's all I can think of right now.

Well I'm not sure but I would like to have your recipe for the bavarian cream cake! Sounds like it should be yummy! I would say chocolate's a good bet though.

How about french vanilla?

Has anyone used Lorann's vanilla butternut; what were your thoughts, how much did you use, what filling and icing did you use?

i have used the the vanilla butternut flavoring from Lorann oils. I love the smell of it SOO much. I added it to my BC frosting (almost half the bottle) and it tasted wonderful i thought. I also added some of the wilton vanilla flavoring also, but not much. The oil did turn the frosting a diff color, but i like it, it was more like an ivory color.

RRGibson, I didn't get back to you about the recipe because I don't have one yet. This is for a cake I'll be doing in Sept. Wanted to try and perfect it first before making it. As soon as I get it to perfection I'll pm you.

Lady, you used half the bottle in the icing, It smells so good in the bottle, but I think it's a tad bit strong. You didn't find it overpowering? I've used the amaretto in my cake, but only 1/4 tsp. I also added amaretto liqueor and creamer as my liquids and it was perfect. I've tried the cherry in my bc but only 1-2 drop per recipe. I tried sugarshacks tips for bc (but instesd if 5 lbs. of ps I used 4) I added 1/4 tsp per recipe. It smelled delicious and after I ate it I tasted cherry all in the back of throat everytime I swallowed for a little while. This is when I know It's overpowering.

former buckeye, Will you share your recipe please?

Thank you all for the advice. Please keep suggestions coming.
