I have a friend that wants me to make a large grooms cake
carrot cake with the crusting cream cheese frosting.

we live in NC and she needs to transport it to LA.
It will be a straight 14 hour drive and then refrigerated and ate the next day.

Will this cake be ok that long in a car?
Or should I try to talk her into something else?

Is there any way it can be placed in a large cooler, so that it will not get warm. Or you could try to see if there is a cream cheese flavor in the Lorranne oils ( I think thats how it's spelled). You could flavor your buttercream with it and that should hold up. Hopefully you will get the help you need.

neni,
Thanks I will check on the flavored oil I know my local cake supply store doesn't have it but maybe I can order it from somewhere.

Any one else have any thoughts about this situation
