I have to make a small 6" extra cake for a man's birthday party. No writing.

What can I do quick that would look great and be EASY???? Are chocolate curls easy to make to cover the top with?

I need to have an answer in 45 minutes! Thanks!

Chocolate curls are great, chocolate covered strawberries, even shredded chocolate! How about toasted coconut?

do the pirouette cookies stuck to the side (forget the ribbon unless you can make it look like a man's belt)

and then do chocolate shavings on top (easier than curls -- just get a bar of chocolate cold and then use a clean vegetable peeler to make the shavings.

can mix different flavors of the cookies and also do dark, milk and white shavings on the top.

-- of course if you can make curls easily (i can't) then by all means do that.

Thanks!

If I do the chocolate curls or shavings on a cake with white icing, what do I do about a border?

Should I make a shell border in white and try to keep the curls/shavings inside? Or make a border out of chocolate bc?

The pirouettes are a good idea but the cake will have the oreo cookies and cream filling and I think it's just too much cookie (if there is such a thing, LOL).
