How Much Cake???!!

Iam about to bake a large sheet cake in my new Magicline 12x18x2 and I have no idea how many boxes of cake mix to use??!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that 2 cake mixes is the standard? I'm not sure how many cups that is.

Depending on the brand you use ..... This pan needs a bit over 13 cups of batter..

I use Betty Crocker and in this pan I use 3 boxes and it comes up just a bit and then I lay a paper towel over the top and put my cutting boards on top and smash for a few ... I never cut the tops of my cakes as they stay fresher this way...

I had DH cake mix, I used 3 to be safe, I'd rather a cake too big rather than too small and it was perfect!!
