I 'm new to this website and just found the Chocolate Syrup Frosting recipe. I'm making a cake using this recipe and I need to know if this cake has to be refrigerated once I put this icing on. Need to know soon because I'm making the cake in just a couple of days. I've made the wilton choc. buttercream and i wasn't to happy with the taste and it was also harder to spread than the regular white butter cream. Thanks for any information!! ![]()
I havent made that particular type of icing but, the chocolate icing I did use for a cake and for cupcakes, I put in the fridge and it did just fine...there were also some of the cupcakes that I couldnt fit in the fridge so they stayed out , covered with syran wrap, the press and seal kind, and they did great too! No complaints from either one.
