I used it because I was just learning how to use fondant, it was cheap and I had no idea where to purchase Satin Ice.

I had no idea that pre-made fondant would be so much easier to use, but I think it helped me a great deal because learning with the harder to handle stuff made working with Satin Ice a breeze. I even did a square cake the other day and not a single crease or bubble!

For me mmf has no stretch whatsoever and looked really dry on the cake.

For me, the difference between mmf and pre-made is like night and day and pre-made is more than worth the extra cost.
