I'm sorry I don't know what is wrong with your printer. But you can probably go to the manufacturer's website and see if they have a section regarding problems.
I do know at HP you can do a live chat with a tech.
Sorry I couldn't be any more help.
sounds like you need to into the printer software and click on print head cleaning so that the valves will clear up, not literally clean the print head. hope you understand what i mean.
Okay, so here's what I did. I went to Canon's website and read through their troubleshooting blah blah blah. I did what they said as far as a head cleaning. Who knew printers can clean themselves ![]()
Anyway, I thought I had it when a test sheet of my image turned out fine but it printed portrait instead of landscape. Not sure about that issue but anyway, I tested another sheet to make sure it printed landscape and it did just fine but this time it started to do the green thing again and absolutely no magenta. The printer told me that the magenta was running low. I replaced it with a new one and did yet another test sheet and still no red!!!!!! ![]()

I called my BIL to come over and help because I had been at this for over 2 hours trying to fix the printer, finish the cake, and stop my kids from fighting. While all of my trauma was going on they managed to get ahold of a box of Rice Chex and dump the entire box on the living room carpet!!!!! ![]()

They ran their trucks over all of it and so if I was making a cake that needed "sand" that would have been perfect but no such luck there. ![]()
I cleaned that up and then got back to the printer. I pulled out all the cartridges and noticed that the magenta cartridge wasn't making contack with the printer head. All others were but that one. I compared the old and new cartridges and the new ink pad on the new one was set back further than the old therefore not making contact. ![]()

Needless to say I am contacting KopyKake tomorrow and letting them know about my issue!!!
We managed with a brandnew needle syringe used to give their dog medicine pull ink out of the old and into the new whilst is somehow leaked everywhere. I had enough to print one test and my image!!!! ![]()
