I waited and waited just to find out there was no Ace Of Cakes..
Does anybody know why ? Or was Ace of Cakes just a Summer show and not we are into Fall so good bye to Summer Shows. I was so disappointed.. 
I think they ran out of new episodes, next week will be a re run... bummer!
Somewhere on CC I read that they renewed them for 13 episodes. Maybe they are just taking a break.

I know you started a thread expressing your dislike on Duff.
But that's ok with me, you can say whatever you want.
But for those people like me who like him and his work, we will keep watching him. 
I asked this question yesterday and no one had an answer.
They had some kind of iron chef thing on.
There is another episode next week..is that the rerun?
I emailed them at Charm City cakes and got a nice reply to my letter

She didn't say yes or no, did she? I looked back on my posts and it was ShirleyW on the "Woooohoooo ACE OF CAKES" thread that said it had been renewed for 13 episodes starting early next year.

I kind of have some second hand info about that show. I have a friend who's kind of does things for the network and I'm not 100% sure it it is all accurate so take it knowing that much.
According to the talk The Food network will sign people to very short term contracts, usually to do 3-6 shows and then both parties can decide where they would like to go with the show. it's basically a contract negotiation if the channel wants to keep them on. Apparenty Duff and the other people who make the show want more money and production frills than most would win if they were in his situation so the negotiations are continuing. I dont like to say bad things about peeps but I do hear that he can be a bit of a stinker. My whole take on it is that he knows this kind of thing is fleeting and he wants to ride the train as much as he can.I dont know if I can blame him.
