Has anyone done a cabbage patch kid cake? I looked through the galleries and found a lot of strawberry shortcake but no cabbage patch. Any ideas or pics would be great!!!!!

Thanks

Do a search on google for cabbage patch kids and you should be able to find a few images. They have been re-released last year since the frenzy of the 80's but haven't seemed to catch on like it did then.

I got a Wilton CP pan off of eBay... I'm sure you could find one too. Or maybe an edible image? Or if you like fondant you could make little cabbages with doll faces coming out of them...

I did a gallery search for "cabbage" and there were a few cakes with cabbage patch dolls. I also think the edible image or even a FBCT would be a great idea!

Can you turn the 3D teddy bear pan into a cabbage patch kid?

The cake needs to be done in two weeks. But I am very new to this an mom is being very picky already and I haven't even started yet. She disapproves of all of my ideas, and insists that the "bakery" will do what she wants. I think I am going to bow out gracefully and have her go to the "bakery". Thanks for all your help !!!

I wouldn't hesitate letting her go to the bakery... let them deal with her.

Best,

Kat
