So Has Anyone Made A Cookie Cake?

Like the cupcake cakes? I was thinking of sending that to a friend who just had a baby - so much easier to grab a cookie than a piece of cake! LOL
I've seen cookie bars done with frosting on top, but what about regular old Sugar cookies done as a flat sheet cake? Is there some trick I should know or pitfalls I should avoid? I think this sounds cute and it's easier for lazy people like me who doesn't want to individually decorate a couple dozen cookies! LOL

That sounds like a great idea. Be sure to post pics if you decide to do it.
Here's a couple cookie cakes I ran across (both by Cambo, I just love everything she does LOL):

I used those new URL things under the pictures now but I guess those don't work... Hmmmm...
just another idea.....when I had my baby my work send me a cookie bouquet but not like the ones on the stick (or even iced cookies) they were choc chip, oatmeal, sugar, peanut butter etc and just were wrapped individually in plastic bags of some sort and then the bags were sort of glued to the sticks....hard for me to explain but i took a pic of it that I will try to attach.........it was GREAT for the munchies!
