How Much Should I Charge?

I made this cake for my DH to take to work for food day and now poeple want to know what I would charge for one. icon_surprised.gif It 's 11x15 1/2 chocolate fudge 1/2 french vanilla covered in BC with fondant accents, chocolate footballs and FBCTs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Not sure how to add an attachment but it's the football cake in my photos. TIA

I WOULD CHARGE $50 I LIVE IN CALI. SO I GUESS ITS DIFFERENT MAYBE

Cool cake....and it's big too. I would say $75 - there is a lot of detail work involved......

$50 seems reasonable in my area as well! Gorgeous cakes by the way! thumbs_up.gif

icon_redface.gif I just got out the measuring tape - I was thinking that 11 x 15 was huge but it is not that much bigger then the 9 x 13 so maybe I was a bit high...... In my mind, I thought it was half of one of those enormous sheet cakes... can you tell I don't do sheet cakes? I have no clue... icon_confused.gif

I agree - $40 to $50. You could offer a lower price for less detail (make the team customization $10 more?)

Thanks for the replys. I was thinking $45-$50 but I wasn't sure. Hopefully I'll get some orders.
