i havent tried the cake balls yet but Im getting ready to, my ? is can these be frozen? and whats the best recipe for these? and awould you have a recipe for the oreo balls and the same ? about freezing. I sell candy & cakes at our festival and like to premake what I can so any info would help...Thanks Ronda
I like strawberry cake balls.
Bake your strawberry cake, make a batch of chocolate pudding, mix the two together (I do in my KA), roll into balls, freeze, dip in white chocolate. It is much easier to dip them in the chocolate if you freeze them. I have no idea how long they can be frozen, but I hope this helps.
Hi - I think the neat thing about cake balls is that you can put almost anything you can dream up in them. There is an article about how to make cake balls on cc and I bet you can get a lot of information and maybe some different variation ideas there. Here is the link...

here is another recipe that lists a couple of variations...

here is a link to an oreo ball recipe that I like...

you can drizzle with white chocolate...also good
sorry not much help with the freezing....I do know that I froze the uncoated cake balls for approximately a day once and they were fine. I just rolled them all into balls and put then in a 9x13 pan in a single layer and put the lid on and put them in the freezer. The next day I took them out and let them thaw a few minutes before coating them. Hope this helps!
Everytime i make I cake I keep forgetting to make some cake balls. Note to self... MAKE CAKEBALLS!!
Thanks for the receipes! ![]()
