I have to add I saw this site months ago and they have not changed any of the cake photos. So if this was put up as a trial until they could get theirs set up, they would have had enough time by now.
Oh ya blame it on the website developer. Always the same pat answer.........never accept the responsibility personally.
Anytime my company puts something up on the website it has to clear legal first!
Besides, now that I'm thinking about it, look at those lips with sprinkles and the red lipstick photos, ishy kaka just who are they trying to market to in the first place? 
I'm done with it, no more hits on their hit counter from me.
eeehhhh, I don't know if i buy it. That is what they always say LOL! Maybe they werent planning on leaving them there, but I have a hard time that they were stock photos, but heck I don't know.

What an embarrassing nightmare.
We will be informing the other cake designers that all the images used are actually commercially available from photographic web-sites used by media, I would imagine if they don't know, they will not be best pleased. I do think it will be no doubt an issue for them to take up with their photographers, as it would be them who are supplying the pictures for re-sale on these commercial web galleries.

at this point, its none of my business anymore (i suppose it never really was, but felt like it was the right thing to do by contacting them) . i dont really know what to think, but i feel like i am going to just butt out, i've contacted the other designers by email so if there truly is an issue, i'm sure they'll take it up with them or whomever is responsible.
