Are there any local retail stores like Walmart, Target, etc where I can buy cookie tins? I have any inquiry on how much it would cost to ship some cookies and I would rather ship them in tin cans for safety.

Check your dollar stores. Sometimes they have them and when they do I usually buy them out. They usually start to stock them now through Christmas season.

Ditto, and the cost isn't hard to swallow.

Ok, I'll recheck the dollar store. I went to three different dollar stores and they didn't have any.

In bigger grocery stores you can find them, especially from now till Christmas...I am in Canada but I am sure things are pretty much the same.
I also get them at the dollar stores.
Good luck!

You could try a craft store like Michael's, too

Yes, there's a garden ridge about 15 minutes from my house. I'll check there too. Thanks everyone.

I have a lot of searching to do this weekend.

Ok, I've checked everywhere. Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Garden Ridge, Dollar Tree, etc. No one has any cookie tins. Do these things come out only around the holidays? I would like some every day cookie tins along with holiday cookie tins.

Are there any online stores that have them?

Dollar Tree is the best place to buy them, but they only usually carry them after Halloween, for Christmas.

I bought matching sets of tins last year at Wal-Mart, in the seasonal section of housewares, but again, they only stocked them after Halloween.

Both places sell out fast, so make sure you keep watching for them.

Great, thanks guys. I will start my searches again at Walmart and then Big Lots.

I'll definitely check the websites too.

You guys are always helpful.
