So here's the update on my first few days working at DQ as their ice cream cake decorator- what a fast pace!! For a home decorator only doing 4-5 cakes a week, busting out 22 cakes a day has been a challenge! So far I have learned how to use a Kopykake projector and an airbrush, and my speed factor is really picking up. Having a blast, but really tired this morning!!

22 cakes a day!! I assume you receive the completed cake and put on the finishing touches?! Even so - wow!

Are you given any artistic freedom here or is there a standard template that must be followed?

Sounds like another slave labor job to me! Don't wear yourself out with that type of pace! But who can beat a yummy DQ!
