i think its worth it if you think you would use them alot. i tend to buy cookie cutters and use them for like 12 cookies and then off they go into my closet.

I personally love the look of these...the trees would add a lot to a gingerbread house arrangement. I haven't tried them yet myself though...

3-D cookies are great to look at, but a bit of a pain to make. The ones I have don't fit together nice without scraping the slots down with a knife. (I just can't get the dough to roll out to the "perfect" thickness.) And then decorating them is a challenge. But no other cookie can beat them for the WOW factor. So you have to decide if the extra work is worth the adulation afterwards!

really cute. the placing of the crosspiece on the angel and snowman just doesn't look right--like they have crotches so to speak! plus i think the sm's arms might break easily.

i posted a while back about the exact ones that you are talking about.. ( look exactly alike anyway ) i bought mine off of QVC 21.20 (includes shipping) i got them about 2 weeks ago and i have messed with them a little bit, but like i posted after i got them...you have to be careful not to get your dough too thick or the cookies will crack when you try to put the bases on them, and then there is the decorating factor, having to decorate both sides ( well i guess you wouldnt have too, but it would look better).....then theres the fact that for some reason the dough likes to stick in the cutter sometimes, i havnet figures that one out yet, it just ticks me off....so i guess they have their pros and cons....i think that i will use mine, and i think that once i get used to them that i will prolly love them.

frankly, if you wanted to do the tree or the snowman, why not just make two cookies and cut one in half before baking, then when decorating just glue them together with either chocolate or royal. Be alot cheaper, the only one i could see this not working on is the raindeer.
