Check it out......looks kinda cool.........I wonder if it would be a pain to switch between colors though!!! Looks like it may help cut down on the waste of the dust........being that is not too cheap!

Looks like a handy tool......but I'm wondering if something like a good blush brush might not work just as well (?) Have never done luster dust so I'm not sure......would like to hear from others who have used it. Might check out Hobby Lobby or Michaels, too, to see if they have some type of comparable "art" brush that dispenses like this also.

Thanks for the info !!

Unfortunately, they are probably hoping you just buy multiples (for each color) instead of switching colors. But I agree its cool looking.

oh yeah, a blush brush definitely works for this........I just thought it was kinda cool the way the luster dust actual is inside of the brush......with the blush brush I have to dip it in the dust, then tap it and the dust goes all over so I tap it over a piece of paper then roll that up and put it back in the container.....I just thought this brush would save all those extra steps.

it looks good but for big applications. it looks like you could just buy a big blush brush too and dip it yourself. how much is a blush brush? i am in jamaica and dont know in us.

Cool tool! But I have to agree that changing colors would probably present a problem.

Bath & Body works used to have huge ones like this with glittery body powder. Good idea for using as a cake item. We should all get rich off of our household items we've converted to bakeware.

I think it's definitely meant to be used with just one color. I 'm sure some of the dust will remain in the bristles and you'd have really shake it out or wash it. Not to mention the dust that will stay inside the handle due to static. Maybe just use it for the color you use the most of, like super pearl or gold or whatever.

I have one from OSSAS. It was a freebie. I have the same thing from Victirias secret with shimmer. I personally think that you would waste more with the Gadget. I air brush all my luster though.

I saw this at a cake decorating store recently. Sounds like a neat tool to try.

I can tell you that the women at my cake club after the ICES convention were in love with this thing. These aren't amateurs either - they seemed to REALLY love them.

Oh heck no, lol! Over the years I've accumulated thousands of dollars in equipment and "goodies"..even down to the putty for making my own molds. SugarCraft thinks I own stock by now..lmao. icon_lol.gif

I have also one from OSSAS. It was a freebie. I just tried it the other day and I like it! But it is only for big projects, like brush a cake with pearl dust... It works great!
