I use BC only and put it directly on the dummies. It hardens rock-hard nad lasts forever. Easy removal .... just get a knife under the icing, run the knife around the cake and it pops right off.

For covering the dummies with fondant, wet the dummies with a light misting of water and attach the rolled fondant. It helps if you soften the top edges of the dummies before applying the fondant.

To round the edges of your cake dummies use an emory board either the large one for acrylics or the more slender ones for natural nails. Works like a charm. File them outside or over a trash can.

Good luck with your dummy cake. Please let us know how it turns out!!!!! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
