I was looking into getting a bunch of different colors of Satin Ice but I'm worried about buying too many because I have no idea how long it lasts and how you're supposed to store it. Also, how does it taste?
Thanks!

Satin Ice tastes pretty good and has a good shelf life. Depending on your area and general weather an affect the life of fondant. If you only use a small amount, put the rest into the freezer. It will last well over a year. When you need it, just let it come to room temperature without any help. Essentially, get it out the night before you need it.

I keep fondant well wrapped and in an airtight container at room temperature. I use leftover colored fondant as a base, if applicable, for mixing other colors.
