I wanted to share with you all the disco cake I made for my niece this past Saturday. She was turning 9 and had a disco themed party with a DJ and the works. I had so much fun making this cake, specially adding the flashing lights and disco ball. I added a link to a small video so you can see the lighting effect. I took the video sideways with my camera and I don't know how to get it straight, sorry about that.

Thank you! The disco ball is an ornament I found at a craft store. I wanted to attach an ornament rotator, but couldn't find one in time.

The cake is great! And I wasn't being snide when asked if the ball was edible--just I am ALWAYS amazed at the cakes and cookies and art here, when I see something and find it is edible or made of sugar. I just want to try a new project every day after seeing what is on this site!
