I'm starting my frosting right now how do I do the BC and melted chocolate frosting? How much melted chocolate?????

Hi Cady,

That would depend on how chocolaty you want the icing. I've done this recipe and I usually add about 3 - 4 melted chocolat squares to a double batch of bc (that's the Wilton recipe). You may have to adjust your icing sugar somewhat to achieve the desired consistency. Good luck icon_biggrin.gif

I just do it by taste, and look ( how dark I want it to be) Good luck!

cady: be sure to let your melted chocolate cool a bit before adding -- if it's too hot it will melt your butter and change the consistency of your buttercream.
