Welcome to CC! You will love it here!

I would suggest posting the link to the pic here so you can get some ideas and also sending a pm to pinkflamingo and ask about the cake. We all try to share our ideas and tips here!

If that is the cake, it looks like they used fondant for the figures. I would make them way ahead of time if you havn't used it before, That way if you mess up or don't like them, you can start over. Also it gives them time to dry (something I wasn't aware of at first.) I would suggest making MMF for it and using the crisco recipe and using crisco on your hands to shape.

CUte cake! Love to see your pics of it when it is done.

I think that you could still do it. In your case, the mmf doesn't have to be super firm.

stephanie,
do you think i could still do the peas in the pod?? i don't want to doall of the one's on the cupcakes around the cake. just the cake with the 3 pods in 1 pea & some writing. i want to keep it as simple as possible--but cute.
