Just curious to know what everyone has planned for Halloween treats? icon_smile.gif I'm planning to make some decorated sugar cookies.

I'm making sugar cookies to pass out, cupcakes for home, cake for school with a spider on it, and cupcakes and cookies for my MIL to bring to church the weekend before.

I made some 'creepy cupcakes' inspired by the wilton site. We had a fun neighborhood party last weekend they called the 'forest fest' -hayrides, spooky trail, bonfire, food etc. I thought what a good opportunity to do something for halloween and to show the neighbors "I DO CAKES!" I think I might have gotten myself a few orders. Pics in my photos!

I'm making some cute witch's broom cookies for the neighbor kids I know well. They were in a little book that I found at the register at my local grocery store.

Other than that, I don't know!

I am making pumpkin shaped cakes for my daughters and my nieces class and maybe some cookies for the teachers.

I'm *planing* to make all or a combination of:

taffy apple cookies
mini pumpkin spice cupcakes/cream cheese frosting
chocolate cupcakes with hazelnut filling/frangelico buttercream frosting and decorated as in the "boilin' cauldron" found on this site
"mice" truffles
and if still feeling ambitious, ghost and pumpkin shaped sugar cookies

I love Halloween! icon_biggrin.gif

3 dozen Halloween cookies for an order, 2 dozen cookies for my son's daycare, and 2 dozen to mail to my niece and nephew in Texas. That's a lot of halloween cookies. Oh, I guess I should make some for my DH. Wouldn't want him to feel neglected.
