Thank you all so much for helping me each step of the way with my first wedding cake. It was an experience. I was so worried that it being all white would be drab, and I was worried that the cake layers would be dry. But it tasted wonderful! This was a gift to the bride and groom. I has several people ask me how much I would charge to do them one, of course I have no idea how to charge for a cake!

Its just stunning....everything works so well together. Lucky bride and groom! Have no idea to tell you what to charge but most posts I see the pros charge by the slice and add on for extras (e.g. flowers, fondant, special fillings, etc....).

You did such a good job. Congratulations on your first wedding cake. I cannot wait until the day I can do my first wedding cake. I'm not sure about the cost either but according to the last post you can charge by the servings or slice plus the extras. I guess depending on the market in your area on wedding cakes. thumbs_up.gif
